"Breastaurant" Business Is Booming: Sports And Sex AppealCONCORD, NC- Man-sized portions and some eye candy on the side. Two reasons why the so-called "Breastaurant" is booming, while many average restaurants struggle. "Twin Peaks Girls are attentive, playful, energetic and sexy. We have our bikini weeks, pirate weeks, school teacher weeks, so girls get to change it up a lot!" said Andre Amos, Twin Peaks general manager. Amos says t it will be the ultimate man cave, with over 100 televisions, two bars, homestyle food and 29 degree beer. "A dirty blonde or a naughty brunette. You can't get those anywhere else," said Amos. At Bikinis in North Charlotte, owners call it 'sports with a view', but some ladies call the waitresses outfits degrading, while others say they enjoy the atmosphere. Manager Chris Cornett says customers come for the babes - but come back for the food. "Since it's bikinis, it is a breastaurant, but it's also a place for you to come and relax , watch your favorite sport, eat some good food, and look at some beautiful girls," said Cornett. The cleverly-named eateries are booming. The top three chains, including Twin Peaks, saw a 30 percent increase in business over the last year. Bikinis saw that same growth locally and customers say the reason is obvious. "We'rer human beings. We like to admire attractive women and it's a great place to come, but especially enticing to come here for that," said Josh Friend, a Chapel Hill resident. Twin Peaks is hiring, but management says they're only doing on-site interviews for ladies looking to waitress. They also mentioned kids will eat free on the weekend. |
