YORK COUNTY, NC -- A York County mother is outraged with the violent game that busted her daughter's lip.  "Smack cam" or "slap cam" is being played across the country.  Kids post videos online of them slapping an unsuspecting victim.  A 12-year-old girl was slapped in class at York Middle School on Friday.

Her mother doesn't want to be identified, but says the attack should be considered bullying.  "You don't hit anyone," she said.  "Parents need to let their children know, look, it's not acceptable for you to hit anyone, and for you to go up and think this is cool and put it online.  Thank God hers wasn't online."

The 12-year-old boy accused of hitting the girl says he watched a "smack cam"  video on YouTube.  He's charged with assault and battery.
