Local Make-Up Artist Gets National AttentionCHARLOTTE, N.C.-- A local makeup artist is getting some national attention after her stint on a locally filmed TV series. Tara Dipetrillo has been a makeup artist for almost 20 years. She got in on the show Homeland during its first year of filming here in Charlotte. Her work may land her bigger gigs in the film industry. Dipertillo is a special effects artist by trade. She hopes to get in on the Show Banshee which also films in Charlotte and will premier next year.
