NEWTON, N.C.-- Detectives with the Newton Police Department arrested a local pastor after allegations of possible sex offenses were reported by the victim's mother in July.

Bradley William Moss, 38, of Newton, was arrested Monday and charged with indecent liberties with a child. Police believe Moss met the child at Victory Empowerment Center International of Hickory, the church where Moss is a pastor.

Moss is being held at the Catawba County Detention Center with a $100,000 bond.
