CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Over 17,000 people hit the streets of Uptown Charlotte on Saturday to support Komen for the Cure making the walk a huge success.  But  Melody Hall, a resident of Gastonia who is currently battling breast cancer feels that the support she has received goes far beyond the race.
