Missing Teen's Body Found in PondMINT HILL, N.C. - The search for a missing Mint Hill teenager has turned into a death investigation. Police announced Thursday morning that Kayla Campbell's body was found in a pond off Sable-Cap Road. Campbell's cell phone, bicycle and helmet were found near that pond on Monday. The 16-year-old was last seen on Sunday at her home. Mint Hill Police say their investigation will now focus on figuring out how Kayla died and the circumstances that lead to her death. |
