STANFIELD, N.C.-- A Stanly County man is behind bars after an investigation into allegations of a relationship he had with a juvenile in 2008.

Gary Lee Stanley II, 29, was arrested Tuesday and charged with first degree sex offense, felonious sex offense, indecent liberties with a child and crimes against nature.

The investigation was conducted by the Stanly County Sheriff's Office and the Stanly County Department of Social Services.

Stanley is being held at the Stanly County Jail under a $250,000 secured bond.
