Man Arrested for Armed Robbery and Possession of Stolen VehicleCHARLOTTE, NC -- Police have a man in custody after they say he held a man at gun point and took his vehicle. It happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday on Echo Glen Road in north Charlotte. According to the victim, the suspect took the victim's vehicle while threatening him with a gun. The suspect then fled the scene in the vehicle. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who gave a description of the suspect and the vehicle. Authorities say they located John Ibn Ramadan a short while later in a parking lot nearby. He is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
