Victim identified After Crashing Into Parked Tractor TrailerIREDELL COUNTY, NC -- Authorities say a woman involved in a deadly accident in Iredell has been identified. Troopers say the crash occurred after 10 p.m. on Jericho Road in Iredell County, when 39-year-old Danelle Merrill's 93' Jeep Cherokee struck a parked tractor trailer. The crash ignited a fire shortly after hitting the tractor trailer. Investigators say Merrill likely died on impact. There were no other injuries. Speed or alcohol were not factors in the accident.
