CHARLOTTE, NC -- Police are actively searching the south Charlotte area for a gunman after he shot a man in the face. According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, there are few details surrounding the shooting but Medic has confirmed one man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries. It happened just after 9 p.m. on Scaleybark Road and Conway Avenue. We will have more on this breaking news as more details become available.
