NEW YORK, N.Y. - The CW green carpet was full of stars Thursday in New York City, including the network's reigning queen, Nina Dobrev.  Star of the wildly popular "Vampire Diaries," Nina plays two characters on the show: Katherine, an evil vampire and Elena, a vampire with a heart of gold.

Dobrev says, "I've always been the good girl and Katherine brings out some of the sass in me."

The CW also introduced stars from it's new, soon-to-be hit shows as well.  Daniella Pineda, a big fan of the QC from her time spent here shooting "Homeland," stars in the highly anticipated "The Originals."  It's a spin-off of "The Vampire Diaries."  Pineda says, "Oh my God, OK, I (bleep) love Charlotte!  I can't say that. I love Charlotte, North Carolina. Like, I love it. OK, you can go to Whole Foods, buy a five dollar glass of wine and sip your wine while you're shopping for food.  That, to me, is better than anything in New York City or the world.  That blew my mind!"

Stephen Amell stars in the hit CW show "Arrow" and his cousin, Robbie Amell, is hoping for similar success with his new show, "The Tomorrow People."  He describes it as "X-Men for the CW" and speaking of the supernatural... "I almost went to Charlotte for a Carolina Panthers game.  Cam Newton is a beast," he says.

WCCB will become the home of The CW on July 1st.  You'll find the network's hit shows like The Vampire Diaries and Arrow as well as soon-to-be hits like The Originals, The Tomorrow People and Star Crossed.
