Mint Hill Middle School Placed on LockdownMINT HILL, N.C.-- Officials with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system confirmed Mint Hill Middle School has been on lockdown since 10:20 a.m. Tuesday. The full lockdown was lifted at 11:30 a.m. The school will remain on partial lockdown for the remainder of the school day, which means students and faculty can move around inside the building. Officials say police are searching for a suspect in the immediate area and the lockdown is a safety precaution. Nobody connected to the school is involved or in danger. |
