Murder VigilCHARLOTTE, NC--A community is using the death of Charlotte's 2nd murder victim as a wake up call. Monte Gay was shot and killed on Farm Pond Lane in east Charlotte Monday. A vigil was held near his parents home in North Charlotte last night, where family and friends joined together with the "Mothers Of Murdered Offspring" to stress that violence never solves problems. Terrence Parker and Brenton Samuels have been charged with Gay's murder and investigators don't believe that the shooting was random.
