New Form Of Fraudulent Emails Arriving In Charlotte Area Inboxes
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Andrew Grigg received one of the emails that promised a one-thousand-dollar VISA gift card for being a good employee. The only problem, Grigg runs his own landscaping company.
"Who wouldn't want extra money. I'd want an extra 100, 500 bucks. But somebody offering that isn't even there. It's just wrong," he said. Charlotte's Better Business Bureau says this is the first time the fraudulent emails have posed as an employee rewards program.
