New Gourmet Grocery Stores Open in the Charlotte Area

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C.--Harris Teeter is the latest store to buy into the gourmet grocery store hype. 

The company has opened two upscale locations in Huntersville and Wesley Chapel. 

The new 201 Central stores have specialty cigars, 3,400 unique wines and more than 600 types of beer. 

Both stores are former Lowes Foods that Harris Teeter acquired in a 16 store swap earlier this year.
