CHARLOTTE, N.C.--No refunds will be given from Mecklenburg County's flawed revaluation but there will be a number of changes.

County Commissioners voted to have the county attorney study the consequences and legality of redoing the 2011 property revaluation.

For now, the board doesn't support fixing past mistakes like refunding tax payers any over charge.

It's just about looking ahead to future revaluations.  The outside group hired to investigate the messed up reval will now identify neighborhoods with major flaws.

Also, members of the board that handle formal appeals to property values will be replaced.
