WASHINGTON, D.C. -- North Carolina Marines are on a U.S. warship headed for the Persian Gulf.  At the same time, President Obama is sending 275 U.S. forces to Iraq for embassy security in Baghdad. ISIS militants are invading that country.

Top lawmakers say they must be stopped.  "If Baghdad falls, if the central government falls, a disaster awaits us of monumental proportions," said Senator Lindsay Graham, (R-SC).

Reports out of Washington say top U.S. lawmakers are considering talks with Iran.  President Obama says he will not send U.S. troops into combat in Iraq.
