Police Investigate Shooting in HickoryHICKORY, N.C.-- Police in Hickory are investigating a shooting early Tuesday morning that sent one person to the hospital. According to police, a verbal argument between two individuals led to a shooting around 3:40 a.m. at a home on 19th Avenue Northeast. Billy Chad Dellinger, 35, was transported to Frye Regional Medical Center in critical condition. Police have named a person of interest but have not named a suspect.
