CHARLOTTE, NC -- UPDATE: Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a deadly shooting in a restaurant parking lot. Jonathan Tristan Daberto Henderson was arrested and charged with armed robbery and murder. Police say Henderson and William Lee Ellis Tunson knew each other and were conducting a drug deal when the suspect shot the victim.

Authorities have identified the victim that was found dead from a gunshot wound in a shopping center in southwest Charlotte.  Investigators say that William Lee Ellis Tunson's body was found in a car behind the Applebee's on South Tryon Street and Whitehall Park Drive.

An employee at a nearby Planet Fitness told WCCB News that a truck driver heard gun shots and later found the unresponsive man in the back of the car.  The guy says he saw bullets and shell casings surrounding the car.

There is no word if there is a suspect in custody or what caused the shooting.  Watch WCCB News @ Ten tonight for more information on the investigation.
