Police Search for Suspect Who Cut Off Electronic Monitor

CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Police are searching for a man they say cut off his electronic monitoring device Wednesday.

Ahndray Clay, 17, is wanted by the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) on outstanding warrants for breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

Clay has had an electronic monitoring device since he was released from jail in July.

Anyone with information on Clay’s whereabouts should immediately contact the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) at (704)336-VACT or call 911.
