Police Search for Woman Attempting to Steal Pain Killers from CVS

HICKORY, N.C.-- Police in Hickory are searching for a suspect accused of trying to steal Oxycodone from a CVS Pharmacy.

According to a report, a woman walked into the CVS on 12th Avenue NE at 12:44 p.m. Sunday where she handed an employee a note stating that she had a gun and wanted Oxycodone. There were no weapons displayed and the suspect fled without taking anything.

Police describe the suspect as a white female in her early twenties about 5 foot 5 inches tall wearing an Ole Miss baseball hat, black pants and a gray hooded sweatshirt. She was seen leaving in an older model silver Ford Ranger truck.
