Police Arrest North Charlotte Murder Suspect in CharlestonCHARLOTTE, N.C.--Police say they arrested a man accused of killing his wife in north Charlotte at a hotel in Charleston. Joseph Brown was taken into custody Friday at a Holiday Inn Express in Charleston, S.C. Investigators found Brown's wife, 71-year-old Mamie Caldwell Brown, dead inside her apartment on Shadow Oaks Drive Thursday night. Detectives will interview Brown in Charleston before his is extradited to Charlotte. |
