CHARLOTTE, NC -- Police are looking for a suspect who is wanted on several charges including felony larceny, felony conspiracy and interfering with his electronic monitoring device. Nemiah Davis was ordered to wear a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department electronic monitor as a condition of his release from jail on July 15, 2012.
On February 25, 2013 Davis cut off his electronic monitor and was last seen on Mt Holly-Huntersville Road near Brookshire Boulevard. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Davis should immediately contact the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) at (704)336-VCAT or call 911.
Davis is the sixth offender monitored by CMPD to cut a monitor off in 2013 as compared to 4 at this time is 2012. CMPD is currently monitoring 392 offenders.
