Potential Investors Make Plans for Eastland MallCHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Potential investors are making plans for transforming the old Eastland Mall. Charlotte City Council is searching for a buyer. One potential investor hopes to turn it into a movie studio called Central Avenue Studios. He says he is already working to build educational partnerships with CMS, CPCC, and Queens University's Knight School of Communications. Central Avenue Studios is planning to meet at the Charlotte East Community Partners meeting on September 20th.
