CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Justin Ruckman and Matthew Tyndall toured one of the two spots that could be the D.N.C.'s Headquarters for what they call "The PPL". "If you look at the state of dialogue in our country right now you can't help but see how polarized it's become and how counterproductive that is when there's so many things we can be doing to improve ourselves," said Justin Ruckman, Co-Founder of the PPL.

What might look like white walls and empty spaces now could be ground zero for a revolution.
At previous political conventions, many voices were marginalized. Organizers hope "The PPL" will help them feel included. The PPL Co-Founder Matthew Tyndall said, "It's never been done to this scale. My goal is people will be able to look to Charlotte and say this is the point where somebody figured out how to suit independent media during these big events."

Bloggers, podcasters and documentary filmmakers are invited to collaborate and share ideas.
The PPL Co-Founder Desiree Kane said, "Instead of take a passive role, they wanna take an active role in vocalizing and mobilizing change through their voice."The idea is for all political beliefs to have a voice and redefine hot button issues from the economy to civil rights.

Packard Place's Dan Roselli said, "I think people are going to leave shocked about what Charlotte has to offer and what the community is like here." The PPL is planning to have two gathering spots in Uptown Charlotte at Packard Place and The Mc-Coll Center For Visual Art.
