GASTONIA, NC -- Family and friends are remembering James Justice, a soldier from Cherryville who died in the line of duty in Afghanistan.  They held a vigil at Legacy Church.

He was shot in the head on Tuesday.  The Army has not released any other information.  His family donated his organs to help other soldiers.

Justice leaves behind a wife and three step-daughters.  He attended Cherryville High School and received a degree from Gaston College before he deployed last month.
