MINT HILL, N.C.--Mint Hill neighbors want answers and quality drinking water.  About a hundred people showed up for a town hall meeting on Aqua North Carolina water concerns.

Residents in the Ash Plantation community say their water continues to be discolored.  Residents pay four times as much as CMUD customers.

They often get charged even when they don't use water.  The company says it has plans to flush the system but for now homeowners are stuck with the discolored water.

Aqua President, Tom Roberts, says the company will open up a second well in the neighborhood Tuesday.  He says it has new technology to control the water quality.
