Restaurant Fire: Third in Gastonia in Last 24 Hours
GASTONIA, N.C.-- The Longhorn Steakhouse restaurant on Cox Road in Gastonia caught fire early Tuesday morning.
According to the Gastonia Fire Department, the call came in around 4:45 a.m. This is the third structure fire in Gastonia in the last 24 hours.
It took 30 firefighters from Gastonia Fire Department, Ranlo Fire Department, Crowder's Mountain Fire & Rescue, and New Hope Fire Department almost 45 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
One Gastonia Firefighter suffered a minor injury to his lower leg and was treated and released from Gaston Memorial Hospital.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Gastonia/Gaston County Fire Investigation Task Force.
