Search for Missing Crystal Morrison This WeekendCONCORD, N.C. - 31-year-old Crystal Morrison was last seen in late August, walking near the intersection at Davidson Highway and International Drive in Concord. It's near her job at Connextions Recruiting. The single mom was apparently at work for less than an hour the day she disappeared. She didn't take her cell phone with her. Concord police searched the area and came up empty handed. Now, private investigator Kevin Ryan and the CUE Center for Missing Persons will launch a different search this weekend. CUE Founder Monica Caison says, "Regardless of whether we find her or not, the investigators will be able to move from that area and on to something else. So that's kind of, every search is successful because you eliminate space and you know where that individual is not." For now, they don't want to say where, so no one tampers with the site. Kevin says, "But we do plan to search a large area, see if we can come up with some more clues." The last person to see Morrison was her boyfriend, Matt Moller. He dropped her off at work that August day. Ryan has questioned Moller and has said he's being cooperative. Our efforts to contact Moller have been unsuccessful. The Kannapolis Police Department confirmed an arrest warrant was issued for Moller last week for possession of stolen goods. The warrant remains unserved. Meantime, Ryan is in contact with the Concord PD, who confirmed for us they will "have a presence" at this weekend's search. Ryan says, "Everybody wants to find her." Horses, dogs, ATVs, boats and dozens of trained volunteers will be used in the search this weekend. They'll work despite the weather. |
