Some SouthPark Mall Stores Still ClosedCHARLOTTE, N.C.--SouthPark Mall says additional stores will not reopen Tuesday. A roof collapse and flooding from open fire mains damaged the main section of the mall on Friday. Three concrete beams fell into the Banana Republic store. Nobody got hurt. Restoration crews are working around the clock. The main department stores are open along with 66 others. Some store managers are in the dark about their status. Several have posted questions on the mall's Facebook page. People whose cars were parked under the mall will be allowed to get them Tuesday. |
