Suspect Shot After Attempting to Break-In Mooresville Resident's ApartmentMOORESVILLE, NC -- Police say a Mooresville resident shot the suspect who was breaking into their apartment. According to a release issued by the department, the incident happened around 8:10 a.m. on Colonial Ridge Circle on Sunday. The suspect was transported to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, then transferred to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Detectives say the case is related to a domestic dispute. They have not released the name of the suspect or the charges he faces.
