Suspects Arrested in Armed Robbery

CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Two people have been arrested in connection with a robbery of a convenience store armed with a hammer.

Paul Steffon Curtis, 21, and Danielle Karen Pearson, 20, were arrested Thursday and face robbery charges.

According to police, a male suspect entered the Circle K store on Albermarle Road demanding money armed with a hammer. The suspect left with the money and got into a car driven by a female.

Officers spotted the car at a gas station where both suspects were positively identified and taken into custody.
