The Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Rock Ridge Music announced that former Mouseketeer and current TV singing sensation Tony Lucca will be performing live, May 25th in Concord, NC.
The live VIP performance will be a private and intimate acoustic affair and only a few lucky guests will have the opportunity to see Tony perform. Tickets will be made available exclusively through the new Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau Visitor Information Center located at 10099 Weddington Road, Suite 102, Concord, NC.
“Tony Lucca is thrilled to be a part of this incredible race-week event at the Event Center of Concord and Great Wolf Lodge. We have been coming to Cabarrus County for years as part of Tony’s normal touring schedule. It is a truly beautiful part of the world and we’re glad to return!” said Jason Spiewak, president of Rock Ridge Music and Tony Lucca’s manager.
“The performance will take place in our brand new Event Center of Concord,” said Phillip Cunningham, General Manager of the Great Wolf Lodge. “I am a big fan of music and a big fan of Tony’s. We at the Great Wolf Lodge are excited that he will be able to perform in our new facility, and this will be a great way for us to showcase this as an events, parties and meetings center. It is very versatile and we are very happy Tony will be helping us celebrate our kick-off party.”
Lucca's life-long immersion in music and his ever-deepening life experiences have resulted in a potently affecting body of work: his lyrics and vocal quality are instantly identifiable, even to those who have heard his music once or twice. Raised in Waterford, Michigan, Lucca began singing at age 3; by 12 he was writing and playing in Detroit-area bands. As a teen, he lived in Orlando, Florida, where he worked for four seasons on the Disney Channel's "Mickey Mouse Club" alongside such future superstars as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and *Nsync's Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez.

His songs have been featured on TV's "Friday Night Lights," "Brothers & Sisters," "Shark," and "Felicity" and in Kevin Costner's feature "Open Range." He has been seen on E! Entertainment Televsion and A&E, and performed numerous times on NBC's "Last Call With Carson Daly." In 2011, he appeared as himself on NBC's "Parenthood," performing his song "Like Love." Lucca was also tapped to appear in friend Justin Timberlake's 901 Tequila commercial spot. Over the course of his career, Lucca has shared stages with *Nsync, Marc Anthony, Macy Gray, Johnny Lang, the late Chris Whitley, Sara Bareilles, and Tyrone Wells. Lucca has also completed several cooperative tours with Jay Nash and Matt Duke (which resulted in "TFDI," a collaborative EP recorded at SPACE in Evanston, Illinois, and released by Rykodisc in late 2009, and "When I Stop Running," a full-length album by the trio that was released by Rock Ridge Music in the summer of 2011).
