Target Pulls Card Poking Fun of Whitney HoustonNEW YORK, N.Y.--Target says they are pulling a greeting card that pokes fun at the late Whitney Houston. The company says the card was sold prior to her death and was removed from stores when it was brought to their attention. The card reads, "Next time you think of dating the bad boy, consider Whitney Houston." The card is referring to Houston's rocky relationship with singer Bobby Brown. Target released this statement, "It is never our intent to offend guests with the products we offer, and we take feedback from guests very seriously." Houston was found dead in a hotel room on February 11th. No cause of death has been determined. |
