Teen Brings Gun To North MeckCHARLOTTE, N.C. —Police say a North Mecklenburg High School Student was arrested after he brought a gun to school. Authorities say they put three schools on lock down after the 15-year-old student ran from officers after they were tipped off of a possible gun possession by the teen. The school resource officer allegedly tried to stop the suspect but he manage to push away the officer and flee to nearby woods, ditching his backpack. Police allegedly recovered the weapon and arrested the teen.
