Teen Charged in Robbery Spree of Neighbors

DENVER, N.C.-- A Lincoln County teen is behind bars in connection with a string of break-ins in his neighborhood.

Joshua Alton Keziah, 19, of Denver, N.C., was arrested Tuesday and charged with with one felony count each of Breaking and Entering a Building, Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Possession of Stolen Goods, Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, Larceny of a Firearm, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and First Degree Burglary.  He was also charged with one misdemeanor count each of Injury to Real Property and Vandalism.

According to a release, detectives were investigating two robberies nearby when they saw Keziah walking nearby, who matched the description given by a homeowner.

Police say Keziah admitted to three break-ins or attempted break-ins and two others that happened several days earlier. 

Keziah is being held on a $40,000 secured bond. More charges could be filed in connection with these incidents.
