Concord, NC – When people mention Carolina Ale House, three words usually come to mind; Food, Sports & Fun.  With the opening of their 21st location, Carolina Ale House can add two more words to its description; Jobs & Community Partner.  This month, Carolina Ale House will open with a staff of 160. Jobs will include management, servers, bartenders, culinary and kitchen staff.

The restaurant group also announced today that it will donate10% of its first five days of food sales to the Charlotte Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities.  “As we enter new markets, it is very important for us to quickly connect and engage with the local community,” stated General Manager, Kenny Voigt. “Speedway Children’s Charities supports all our philanthropic priorities; we’re excited to work together.”

Carolina Ale House - Concord is scheduled to open Monday, July 15th at 8695 Concord Mills Blvd.  It will be the second Charlotte-area location, as a Carolina Ale House opened in Uptown Charlotte in September 2011.  “We started looking for a second Charlotte location as soon as we opened Uptown,” explained Lou Moshakos, President and Owner of LM Restaurants, the hospitality group that manages the NC-based Carolina Ale Houses.  “The Concord Mills area will provide us with the foot traffic and target demographic aligned with our concept.”

Carolina Ale House is the better alternative to a typical sports bar with scratch-made food, high quality bar choices and a locally-focused, hospitable environment.  The restaurant will be open seven days a week, 11am – 2am.  It will feature 72 beers on tap, 99 bottle of beer and an extensive scratch made menu that goes beyond the typical sports bar fare.  Tuesday nights from 5 – 9pm is Kid’s Night where children 12 & under eat for 99cents.  Wednesdays are Pint Nights where most all drafts are $3. The restaurant’s high-energy atmosphere, especially during big game days, and the multitude of TVs makes it the ultimate meeting place.

Carolina Ale House currently has 20 locations; six locations in the Triangle, locations in Wilmington, Fayetteville, Greenville, Charlotte and Jacksonville, NC, a small outlet in Terminal 2 of RDU International Airport, four locations South Carolina, one in Georgia and three in South Florida.  The concept will expand to Glenwood South in Raleigh, Winston-Salem, NC, Charleston & Summerville, SC and Texas over the next 18 months.

Carolina Ale House, est. in 1999, is locally owned and operated by LM Restaurants (LMR).  LMR was ranked the 24th Fastest Growing Private Company in the Triangle at the 2012 Triangle Business Journal’s Fast 50 Awards and 27th in the NC Mid-Market Fast 40 by Business North Carolina.  It is the parent company of several award-winning restaurants on the East Coast. www.lmrest.com
