Three Arrested in Convenience Store MurderSALISBURY, N.C.-- Three men are behind bars in Rowan County charged with the murder of a convenience store owner Monday. Hecham Abualeinan, 59, owner of the Z & H Mart off Mooresville Road, was found dead just before 10 p.m. Monday from a gunshot wound to the head. Maurice Robinson, 23, Kevin Lamont Canzator, 20, and Christopher Lee Watson, 23, were arrested Wednesday and all three charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and first degree murder. According to police, surveillance video showed two men walking into the store and purchasing items before Watson, the gunman, entered and began his robbery. The three suspects are being held at the Rowan County Detention Center with no bond. |
