SALISBURY, NC - Salisbury Police Investigators assigned to investigate the circumstances surrounding the found body of Richard Carl Reeder, Jr., on Sunday morning have arrested two individuals with his death, which is now clearly a homicide.
Even while the Medical Examiner’s Office was working to determine an official cause of death, Detectives were conducting interviews with those known to have been with Reeder in the early morning hours Sunday.
At this time, the motive behind this incident is not clear and police are continuing their investigation.
On Monday afternoon, the Medical Examiner’s Office concluded that Reeder’s death was the result of blunt force trauma to his head and neck area.
Clinton Bruce Rhoney, 21 years of age, of Salisbury.
