Volunteers Search For Missing NC Woman

BELMONT, NC -- Volunteers continue to search for a missing Belmont woman after she has been missing for more than a month.

Family and friends gathered on Saturday to look for Elizabeth Stonger. They also spent the day handing out flyers.
 
Stonger was last seen Oct. 14 driving away from the Wal-Mart where she worked.
 
Authorities say the 27-year-old mother left the store for lunch that day, waved to some people and drove away from the store alone. Her family hasn't had any communication with her since.

On the evening she disappeared, her cellphone was used in McDowell County. Since then, there's been no activity on the phone.
