Wilson Takes A Leap of Faith and Jumps Out of a Plane

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wilson will do just about anything...and on Memorial Day, he proved it.  A 125 mile an hour free fall from an airplane is something Wilson said he would never do...but with the help of some great people, he did it.  As part of the Patriot Day Festival at SouthPark Wilson took his maiden voyage out of the plane and landed safely in Symphony Park.

Wilson was helped with his jump by Golden Knight Mike Elliott who did a tandem jump with President George H.W. Bush on Mr. Bush's 83rd and 85th birthdays.  Mike's partner Dana Bowman is a Golden Knight double amputee (check him out on www.danabowman.com) who travels the country jumping and speaking at events.
