LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C.-- Officials identified the man who was killed in an industrial plant accident Saturday morning.

Marendonio Francisco Viruel Lopez, 35, was operating a saw at the RSI Home Products Plant on Lincoln County Parkway when he became caught in it.

Lopez was brought to Carolinas Medical Center Lincoln where he was pronounced dead of traumatic injuries. He has worked at the plant for about 8 years.

This incident is still under investigation by OSHA.
