Facebook Posts Results in Teacher's SuspensionGASTON COUNTY, NC -- A local high school teacher is suspended with pay after posting pictures of a student's work on her Facebook page. "See what I go through every day," is what Shanna Sigmon-Moore posted in response to the student's misspelling of words and grammatical errors. Although the posts weren't shared publicly, friends of the teacher could still see the picture. Sigmon-Moore, is an English teacher at North Gaston High School. According to school officials, three photos of her students' writing were posted on the social media site. They were made aware by an anonymous tip. Bonnie Reidy, Gaston County Schools spokeswoman, says they are taking this matter seriously and the teacher has been suspended with pay pending a complete investigation.
