DNC Spending Numbers Released

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Democrats spent a chunk of change in Charlotte leading up to their convention in Charlotte last month. 

A report filed Monday with the Federal Election Commission shows expenses reached almost $8 million. 

Convention organizers paid ADP more than $900,000.  Hotels in the Charlotte area received more than $650,000. 

The convention committee also paid the Foo Fighters more than $147,000 for their performance the night President Obama accepted the party's nomination.
