Dilworth Woman Named in Petraeus Affair
CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- A 37 year military career hits a major road block and an affair with a Charlotte woman is to blame.
Conflicting reports about how the FBI uncovered that marital cheating which led to General Petraeus resigning from the CIA. Paula Broadwell is the woman in question.
The Dilworth wife and mother of two worked with General Petraeus on his autobiography.
Some news accounts indicate Paula raised a red flag about the affair after sending harassing emails to Jill Kelly, a Florida State Department worker and acquaintance of Petraeus.
But now there are questions over whether or not Broadwell was the one sending emails from a personal gmail account.
Several members of Congress are now concerned that the sex scandal will officially keep Petraeus from testifying at a hearing this week over the Benghazi Terrorist attack.
Congress is also considering calling Petraeus to testify about the affair and possible breaches of National Security.
