Former Soldier Receives Double Arm TransplantBALTIMORE,MD--The first soldier to survive after losing all four of his limbs in the Iraq war, will leave the hospital with arms. Brendan Marracco received a double arm transplant in December after going through 13 hours in surgery at John's Hopkins University. The veteran is one of the only six people in the U.S. to successfully undergo the procedure. Doctors say it might be a couple years before Brendan has full use of his new arms.
