CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Forty-eight states are now reporting widespread flu cases.  If you have symptoms you could beat the virus with sweets! 

Specialty ice cream maker, Jeni's, is marketing a new influenza sorbet for sickies. 

The $12 a pint ice cream is made with cayenne pepper, ginger, bourbon, honey and citrus juice. 

It is supposed to clear sinuses, soothe sore throats and ease body aches.  The recipe's a spin on a family remedy.
