LOS ANGELES, C.A.--Officials say teenagers are using hand sanitizer to get drunk. 

According to the Los Angeles Times, six teens have been treated in local hospitals for alcohol poisoning from drinking hand sanitizer. 

Police say the kids are using salt to separate the alcohol in the sanitizer. 

The process is creating 120-proof liquor.
