Health Insurance Premiums Might IncreaseCHARLOTTE, NC-- The cost of your health insurance could go up by double digits. Some Health Insurance providers have raised premiums by 20% despite the Obama Administration's new Health Care law. Others providers want to follow. The average North Carolina family pays almost $15,000 per year in premiums. Medical Contributor Marc Siegel says: "If they can't afford the premiums, they're either not gonna get coverage or they're going to end up in the state exchange in a year, getting coverage that's federally subsidized which is going to cost the tax payer money , there is nothing in the Obamacare law that's going to keep premiums down." |
