NEW YORK, N.Y.-- High school girls having unprotected sex and getting the morning-after pill in school.

Girls in New york already had free access to condoms, but now several school districts there plan to offer emergency contraceptive to students as young as 14 with parent's approval.

Parents can choose to opt their kids out of the program. Critics call it a free pass to have sex, and others say it comes down to money.

We checked and Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools do not offer the morning after pills to students.
